Make sure to not isolated and communicate. Make sure that people know what is going on with you at some point in time. You want your clients to know where you are with any project or any of your partners or people that you have not networked with to know something that is going on about you. Don’t stay in your safe bubble because you are going to lose some future help that you are going to need. Do not be elitist and build partnerships. Know the difference between arrogance and confidence. Stand on what you know but don’t act or think that everyone is below you because that is going to make you gain enemies or rivals at work. Make sure to build any cross-functional, team building, or some level of partnership that is out of your particular skill set. Do network so you can meet new people and new connections.
